Like all rainbow sinners, I too do love me some Judy Garland. Baby girl was the OG bad bitch of Hollywood. They forced her to live this cute cookie cutter lifestyle that was a fraud. Everything she did from what she wore to who she dated was dictated by the owner of MGM, Louis B Mayer another Hollywood piece of shit fat ass. How Hollywood treated Judy during her childhood would forever haunt her adulthood.
No longer could she fall asleep at a decent time without the use of drugs. Why? Because they forced Judy to work 18 hour days with use of Amphetamines to stay awake and sleeping pills to make her sleep for a few hours after. Literally child slavery. They also called her ugly and fat all the time. And no not in a cute funny joking way, Louis B. Mayer used to call her “His little hunchback”. I will beat his ass. Are you kidding me?
This was all after she fucking made “The Wizard of Oz” which is still one of the biggest/greatest films of all time. No one knows who Louis B. Mayers fat ass is, everyone knows Judy. She should of been set for life from that film but no Hollywood screw our princess out of royalties. So she had to whore herself out just to pay her bills and pay back the IRS due to years of mismanagement of her finances by the hands of all the snakes around her. Judy needed someone like me in her life. Someone who saw that she wasn’t just another good singer in Hollywood, she was the fucking Queen of Hollywood.
Her voice was a gift from God, every time she sings daddy gets chills. Her performance in “A Star is Born” is phenomenal. Each song is a jam, I bought the album on vinyl, its my favorite record to clean too. I get down and dirty with the swiffer during “Born in a truck”. Which btw is the best musical moment in a film. Its like 14 minutes of her singing about how gross Hollywood is.
Every movie she’s in she steals the spotlight. She had REAL talent, unlike these talent less hoes we have around today.Also baby girl was mad funny too. Her witty banter during her concerts and interviews got me dying. She could take a joke and give a joke back even harder. She would of THRIVED in today’s social media age. Meme city with this girl. Sadly she died at 47 due to her addiction to alcohol and drugs but I say she was murdered by Hollywood.
Instead of getting her help they worked her like a slave. I just saw the movie “Judy” starring Renee Zellweger as Judy Garland. The film is about Judy’s last years performing in London before her death. My baby girl Lexi and I were the youngest people in this theater and let me tell you, WE ALL CRIED.
Literally at the end no one clapped, no one got up, everyone just fucking cried. It was so emotional! Renee best win ALL the awards for this roll. She legit was Judy. Down to the mannerisms and the accent. I was in awe. I just wanted to jump into the screen, flush away all her pills and just let her SLEEP.
The movie is about the last few years of Judy’s life. When she was basically poor due to everyone bleeding her dry, from her agents to the IRS. She only could get work in London but that meant she would have to leave her children behind. It was tragic. The whole film is a tragedy with comedy splashed in, cause home girl was mad funny. So many giggles around her. She’s gonna be my BFF in heaven.
The film also has a hella cute tribute to Judy Garland and her close relationship with the gays. Judy loved the gays before it was mainstream. There are some theories that the Stonewall Riots are linked to Judy’s funeral because they were both on the same day. Starting in the 1950’s it was common to ask someone “Are you a friend of Dorothy” to secretly ask if someones gay.
I have an AMAZING movie idea for a Comedy/drama about this topic. Its mad original so I won’t spill it now cause mad leeches will steal it from me. But if you work in Hollywood hit me up daddy got a Million dollar idea. I think the gays love Judy because despite all her trauma in her childhood, she always put a smile on while on stage. Yes she used drugs and booze to cope with her past but when she was on stage it was like she was free again. She attempted to pull thru while on stage and make light of her situation while secretly she was living a life of hell. I can tell you horror stories from my past but I never let them affect me today. I just think they make my memoir even juicer.
In the end, Judy died at 47 and that to me is disgusting. Hollywood is what killed her. I would NEVER let my child be a child star. I always wanted to be one as a child but now I’m beyond happy I wasn’t. I would be a drugged up waste case because lets be real only like 1% of child stars make it out of Hollywood normal. Looking at you Hillary Duff.
Between getting sexually assaulted to being force fed drugs to stay awake during filming. Shit is NOT normal. These children need to have a normal childhood. The media also had a hand in her death. They just trashed her name and her reputation so what she showed up drunk to a few concerts. Girl was going thru HELL. Y’all should of respected her space and prayed for her, not trash her name in the media. The tabloid industry will always be TRASH.
Yes I love Judy and her work but I honestly wish she never got the lead role in Oz and she lived a normal happy life. Maybe someone in the mid-west, on a farm with 3 children and a buff former military man as her hubby. She’s the lead singer in her church choir and all the moms love her.
